This is a terrific, contempoary flat on the raised gound floor level of a period building just off the old Brompton Road. Enter into a small communal hallway and up a few stairs to the flat. The door opens into the bright and crisp living/dining room – the first impression is very WOW. It is furnished with very good mid-century modern furniture: two Le Corbusier-style chairs in front of a bay window, a comfortable sofa covered in beige, a gas fireplace, a beautiful coffee table, an easy chair with yellow striped fabric, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. A tall bookcase holds architecture and art books for you to enjoy. Architecture drawings, a portrait and a pepper watercolor hang on the walls. A large bay window with Venetian blinds looks onto the street.

1-bedroom London Flat Sitting/Dining Room

The galley kitchen is small, but up-to-the minute and efficient. It has black granite counter tops, a back splash of small, gray mosaic tiles, an oven, cook top, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer.

A hallway extends to the back of the flat. The first room along the hall is a guest powder room.

On the left of the hall, the good-sized bedroom has a queen bed, a built-in clothes cupboard, a TV, excellent art. Two wood and canvas chairs are in front of a wide window that overlooks a gorgeous large tree that shades the bedroom.
