fabric. An antique wedding chest serves as a coffee table. There
is a wood-burning fireplace and a
bay window which overlooks, appropriately, Cashel Bay, which is just
across a
little
lane.

The
beautiful large dining room has a pine farm table to seat 10, yellow
walls, terra cotta floors, white glass-fronted cupboards and a big
black
Aga stove (for warming winter nights). The dream kitchen is stylish and efficient and filled with all a gourmet cook could desire. There is a professional 6-burner stove with a stainless steel hood, a dishwasher, microwave, a large refrigerator-freezer and a stainless steel sink in front of a window that looks onto the back gardens. |

One
bedroom has a queen bed with a floral fabric headboard and a white
coverlet. There is an antique chest of drawers and a dressing
table and chair. Two occasional chairs and a round table are
placed in front of a tall window that overlooks the gardens. This
is a large, sunny bedroom. A
separate dressing room as a built-in wardrobe (with antique boxes laid
along the top - very pretty). The bright, all-white en suite bathroom has a long, deep tub and a shower over tub. |

which can be pushed together (as shown in the photo below). There
is a chest of drawers, two antique armoires and a dressing table and
chair. The walls, as you see, are raspberry red. The en

The
back patio has outdoor furniture for dining and to sit a
spell. This house has
gorgeous
garden on all sides with mature plants and trees to rival any public
garden. Wander the garden paths and enjoy the bounty and the
beauty. The house is next door to a small country house hotel that used to belong to this house. You can dine at the hotel or have a drink at the bar or just enjoy walking in their immense garden. The owners can arrange cleaning and cooking for you at an additional cost with advance notice. Children are warmly welcomed here. Deep sea fishing can be arranged. The Connemara (home of the world-famous Connemara ponies) may be the most haunting area of Ireland, rocky, wet, green, still. It's difficult to describe, but it's unforgettable. Horse riding, fishing and walking are available. Golf courses are nearby, including the renowned course at Ballyconneely. There are authentic pubs and superb restaurants. A beach is 6 miles from the property. |

Heating and electricity are extra, charged at cost by meter readings. Refundable security/damage deposit of € 650 is due on arrival. This property may not be available for Christmas. Cleaning is available: € 15 per hour. |
