| This is great house. It has a clear view of Clifden harbour. The owner has 14 Connemara sheep and many baby lambs grazing on his hillside behind the house - they do much to enhance the landscape. It's on 14 acres of lawns, meadow and woodland, yet it's only a flat, easy 5-minute walk (on sidewalks) into the center of Clifden village. The pretty village has many shops, authentic pubs (all smoke-free), superb restaurants and a very good food market. The scenery in the general area is some of the best in Ireland. The drive from Clifden to Mayo is so beautiful it will break you heart. | ![]() |
