The Farmhouse
Accommodates 10 5 bedrooms 5 bathrooms This is, simply put, a fabulous house, gorgeous. It is large, gracious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and there’s an amazing garden on the grounds. What more could you want? |

Enter
into an open entry hall with a slate
floor (and underfloor heating) and a stairway up to the bedrooms.
To the left is the dining hall. It has a hand-made table with
8 upholstered chairs, a slate floor, a serving table and a large urn
that holds a
massive bouquet of dried hydrangeas from the owner’s garden.

The dream kitchen is off the dining
room. It has granite counter tops, a black slate back splash, two
ovens, a dishwasher, a sexy American refrigerator-freezer, microwaveand
slate flooring. A separate laundry room
holds the washer and dryer. A door from the kitchen opens onto
the back lawn area and parking - very convenient for carrying groceries
into the house.

On the right of the entry hall is a casual sitting
room that has a
great sofa, a leather wing chair and a second chair covered in coral
chenelle, a beautiful rug over coir carpeting, a
wood stove in a stone fireplace surround, A TV, ceiling beams that have
been
whitewashed. Windows look onto the green landscape.

Through the dining room and to the left is the airy,
light, spacious drawing
room. It is decorated in rust, soft orange and beige. It
has a large sofa, leather wing chairs, a coffee table, a desk, a
fireplace, excellent lighting, objets d'art. Windows look
onto gardens. It’s a beautiful, gracious room.

Down two steps from the drawing room is a
charming garden room. It has rock walls, a stone floor stylish
wicker furniture, a TV, VCR and DVD player. Windows looking onto
spectacular views.

One bedroom is on the main floor. It has
a standard double bed with a beautiful French cotton coverlet, an
antique
cupboard and a chest of drawers, coir rug. As are all the
bedrooms, this is lovely and
serene. The en suite bathroom has mosaic tiles and a stone
floor. The shower
drains through the floor - it’s part of the
room.

Another bedroom has a king bed with fine French bed
linens, this time in soft light blue. The furniture is similar to
the other bedrooms, very finely crafted. Some walls are
stone. The en suite bathroom
has a large, deep tub with a hook-up shower.

Up another level are two more bedrooms.
One has twin beds, cupboards, a desk, slanting roof line, views of the
gardens. The adjacent bathroom has a deep triangular bathtub with
a hook-up showr.

The
other bedroom has a standard double bed with a wicker headboard,
decorative fireplace, fine cupboards, a desk. The en suite
bathroom has a mosaic-tiled shower.

The estate’s 20-acre Bonython Gardens are
rated one of the top five gardens in Cornwall. Guests are welcome to
explore the gardens (including three lakes in a hidden valley). The
gardens
are open Tuesdays to Fridays between 10am and 4.30pm April through
September. What a treat this will be for you (as it was for
us).

| The
Mews Cottage Accommodates 6 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms This lovely old cottage, newly renovated and
furnished with the same taste and care as the larger house, is attached
to St.
Corantyn Cottage in a charming courtyard setting some distance from the
house.

Cross a graveled area through the cottage door that
opens into the dining room. It has a long table to seat 6, a
chimney and wood stove, wood floor, French doors open onto an enclosed
back patio and courtyard garden.

One bedroom is to the left of the dining
room. It has a king bed that can convert to twin beds.
Its headboard is covered in rich greeny-yellow fabric is a greeny
yellow, a wood wardrobe, window looking onto the courtyard. The
en suite bathroom has a tub with shower over tub.

The large kitchen is on the other side of the
dining room. It has an electric hob and oven,
refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer.
There are wood floors, a beige tiled back splash, a trestle table for
casual meals.

The living room has two modern sofas covered
in oatmeal fabric, a wing chair, an antique Windsor chair, a wicker
coffee table, a wool rug over coir carpeting, a wood stove, TV, video,
DVD and a CD player. This is a perfectly beautiful and very
comfortable room - cottage style without any fuss.

Two more bedrooms are upstairs.
One bedroom has a queen bed with a tall ultrasuede headboard, beautiful French linens, wood cupboards, industrial carpeting. The en suite bathroom has a shower. |

The third bedroom has twin beds with silk
bedcovers in luscious colors, cupboards, windows looking onto the
gravelled courtyard garden. The en suite bathroom has a tub with
shower over tub.

St. Corantyn Cottage
Accommodates 4 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms St Corantyn Cottage is attached to the Mews Cottage. Furnished in the same style as the Mews Cottage, it is comfortable and beautiful. It’s the perfect choice for anyone who prefers a one-level cottage. |

Enter into a small hallway to the left of
which is the large open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. The
living/dining room has two blue sofas, easy chairs, two coffee tables
in
different designs, painted side tables and armoire, a wood stove with a
wood
mantle, a TV and video and DVD player.

The dining area has a trestle table with 4
upholstered chairs, books, an antique dresser holding dishes and
pitchers. A door opens onto the garden that has stone walls, a
beautiful garden border and outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
Gigantic pots hold a profusion of plants and flowers.
The galley kitchen has an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, a refrigerator with a separate freezer, a washer and dryer, a tiled backsplash custom-made cupboards. |

blue and yellow. The adjacent bathroom has a
