TO SEE MORE Cotswolds Holiday Rentals |
| ". . . the quintessence of all things Cotswold." - Fodor's Although this
property dates from the 9th century, the manor house was built and
rebuilt
between 1464 and 1616. In 1925, the manor
house was a picturesque, decayed ruin. It was sold for the
first time in nearly a thousand years to Norman Jewson, the
distinguished
Arts and Craft architect, who reclaimed it. Since 1974, the
current owners have been renovating the manor and the cottages,
creating
an unusual and comfortable holiday retreat.
