Bookers adjoins Cope and can be rented with Cope to take advantage of Cope’s enormous dining room.

The door of this Cotswold stone cottage opens into the drawing room. It has buff walls, a large cream Chesterfield sofa and a smaller coffee-colored sofa, a 4' square hassock for feet or tea cups, a Turkish rug, a fireplace, a flowered linen-covered arm chair, a desk and velvet desk chair. There's a bookcase, games table and chairs.

The bright dining area has a round pine table to seat 6. It is covered with a blue and white checked cloth. A pine cupboard holds Welsh china.

The yellow kitchen has white cabinets, a terra cotta floor, blue and white curtains, blue and white Delft tiles and brown granite countertops. There is a Belfast sink and a butcher block trolley. French doors lead to the terrace and garden. There is a utility room and a powder room.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms.

One, overlooking the Abbey and the orchard, has a king bed with cream and rose toile fabric. Matching fabric is on the curtains, the cupboard interior and the upholstery. Everything is painted in the gray-green called “gris de chateau”. The en suite bathroom has a tub with shower over tub.

The other two bedrooms have twin beds that can be placed together to make king-size beds.

One bedroom has buff walls, blue headboards and blue and white patchwork bed spreads. A dressing table is covered in blue and white stripes.

The other twin bedroom is painted warm blue. Everything else is white, lace-edged curtains, bedspreads, chairs and bed hangings. The twin rooms share a bathroom that is tiled in blue and white Delft.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTICE:

All the bedrooms in Bookers are upstairs, but there is a guest powder room on the main floor.
