Accommodates 2 1 bedroom 1 bathroom This romantic little cottage is tucked away in the corner of the stable block.  The front door opens into the large open-plan living/dining room/kitchen.  The living room area has a tall ceiling, buff walls, damask curtains in soft pink, blue and beige.  The sofa is blue and beige checked.  There is an antique carved oak mantel, an elegant blue velvet Victorian chair, a writing table and chair, an ottoman covered in the same pink patterned Kelim rug that adorns the floor.  A pine cabinet displays pink Lusterware.

The light and bright kitchen has a terra cotta floor, natural wood cabinets and blue and white Delft tiles.  The dining table is in the kitchen area - or you can eat on the terrace, surrounded by roses, lilies, ceanothus, honeysuckle and euphorbia.

Upstairs is the galleried bedroom with a queen 4-poster bed painted blue and white.  There is an antique red and white chest of drawers and old blue Venetian glass ornaments on a white dressing table.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTICE: As you can see in the photo to the right, Saratoga has a rather steep stairway up to the bedroom.  It would be difficult for anyone with limitations of vision, mobility or balance.
