This house is exquisitely located to command superb views of the changing tides of the Atlantic. The property is next to the mouth of a river where, in ancient times, fishermen set out to fish in Dingle Bay. |
|
The
house was designed so it can be divided into two self-contained wings,
Burnham, and the slightly smaller Cloosh. Each wing has two
bedrooms,
two bathrooms and a kitchen. There is a small sitting room and
conservatory
in Cloosh Wing. |

The house can, of course, be used as one large house with two kitchens. This provides the ideal environment for an extended family. Some people close off one of the kitchens; others use one as a fisherman's kitchen. |
|
At the center of the house is the large red living room that has an antique fireplace, wood and slate floors, comfortable furniture, good art and lovely appointments. The room has direct access to the verandah, the gardens, the boat dock and the Bay. At the doorstep of the house lies the Dingle Peninsula, a "rich and rare land" where you can hear the Irish language and absorb the rich local culture. |

You'll find a friendly welcome in Dingle Village, a vibrant, popular seaside town that is known worldwide for its music. There are excellent restaurants, authentic pubs, shopping for art and craft items and books. Fungi, the Dolphin, and the Dingle Aquarium, is right in the village.
The area offers is an abundance of outdoor activities to be enjoyed, all in dramatic scenery. Sailing, cycling, walking, horse riding and, of course, many golf courses.
The Dingle Peninsula's scenic drive, including Connor Pass, is truly spectacular. The Ring of Kerry drive, longer than the Dingle Peninsula drive, is another amazing experience. The Skelligs and the Blasket Islands are easy trips that will stay in your mind forever. Visit the Great Blasket Center. The site, the building, and the exhibits are superb.
Dingle Village is 1 mile from the house. Shannon Airport is 107 miles. Galway is 157 miles. Dublin is 213 miles.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTICE:
This
is an excellent property for anyone with mobility limitations as there
are no stairs into or within the house. There are stall showers
in
some bathrooms. Note: Children must be closely supervised as the
