A mile up a hill from the picturesque village of Broadway, overlooking the rolling Cotswolds landscape, is a detached Cotswold-stone barn.  Set by itself at the end of a 1/2 mile long drive, the barn is the result of a very tasteful conversion.  We know we deal in superlatives, but this is a truly terrific, luxury holiday rental.
 

Enter a wide hallway to a galleried staircase.  On the main floor are the kitchen, powder room, dining room and sitting room.  The kitchen is modern and beautifully designed.  There is a pretty powder room on this level.

The dining area looks out over the landscape and appears to be part of it.  One notices the exposed beams, flagstone floors.

The living room is very comfortable, decorated with restraint and excellent taste.  The entire main floor is a showplace, but it's made to be lived in and enjoyed.

Upstairs are two en suite bedrooms, one with a four poster bed.  Neither of these bedrooms is fussy.  Both are very comfortable and well-appointed.  One en suite bathroom has a shower; the other has a bathtub with shower- over-tub.

There are breathtaking views across the valley, which is designated as an area of outstanding  natural beauty, up to Broadway Tower. The National Trust’s Snowshill Manor is one mile away; so, too, is the nearest pub. The bustling town of Broadway is down the road.  All of the Cotswolds is right there, just beyond your view.
