The stairway is graceful. Walls are painted rich terra cotta and

standard.
There is a traditional cooker and a black Aga stove (which is turned
off
in warmer months, but it’s still a marvel). The large
center
island has seating for casual meals. A finely-made open cupboard
holds china and other items. |

Located on the Beara Peninsula, the house is 3km from pretty Kenmare town, renowned for some of the best restaurants and pubs in Ireland. There are two 18-hole golf courses in Kenmare. Fish the Sheen or the Blackwater, famous for wild salmon fishing. Horse riding, bike hire or guided walks are available locally. Or just relax in the house and do nothing. We won’t tell a soul.
A cleaner and cook can be arranged with ample notice and at extra cost. Golfing, fishing and tours can be arranged. Babysitters can usually be found for you.
This is one the most picturesque parts of Ireland. You can enjoy the full view of Kenmare Bay and the Macgillycuddy Reeks. The Dromughty River runs through the land.
