Accommodates 2 - 3 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom Overlooking Kinsale's historic harbour, this is a fabulous setting.  The apartment house is nearly IN the water! The apartment, which faces the water, is on the second floor of an attractive, modern building designed in the Irish style.

The living/dining room has two comfortable modern sofas in front of the modern fireplace, a beige rug over the dark wood floor, a mini-bar, excellent art hanging on clean white walls.  There is surround sound DVD and flat-screen Sky digital TV.  Double glass doors open onto the balcony that looks onto gorgeous 180 degree harbour views.  It's perfect for al fresco dining. The dining area has an antique gate-leg table and four comfortable antique dining chairs and beautiful old grandfather clock.  We love the original clown painting that hangs over the table.

The spacious modern kitchen has granite counter tops, white wood cupboards, creamy colors, a stove, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer.  The excellent equipment and the dishes and crockery are stylish and the highest quality.  The window lets in the morning sun.

One bedroom has a queen bed with a wood headboard, a beautiful tall chest of drawers.  The view from this room is dazzling.

The other bedroom has twin beds with tall upholstered headboards and a chest of drawers.   This bedroom is small, but it is still very stylish and comfortable. The large bathroom has an enormous tiled shower.

The village centre is an easy 5-minute walk.  Old Head Golf Course is 10 minutes.  Kinsale has a natural enclosed harbour at the mouth of the Bandon River.  It is protected by two ancient fortresses, Charles Fort and James Fort, built in the early 17th century.  The town is well-known for its medieval  Georgian and Victorian architecture and its maze of narrow streets.  Yachting, fine restaurants, authentic pubs and terrific shopping are at your door step. The owner prefers that only 2 people rent the apartment, but he will accept a third person.   Shannon Airport is 63 miles.  Cork is 15 miles.  Killarney is 50 miles.
