This Georgian terraced row house has recently been renovated and decorated in a most stylish and comfortable manner. It is bright and light and very spacious. We love it.

The entry door is to the right of the entrance hallway. It opens into the large open-plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen. Walls are crisp white; floors are polished oak. It's immaculate, refreshing and serene.

The sitting area has two spiffy leather sofas, a log burning stove with a beautifully framed mirror above it, a large flat-screen TV and a DVD player on a cupboard. The art is witty and colorful. The dining area has a glass-topped table that can seat 6 comfortably .

French doors in the dining area and the sitting room open onto a large balcony that overlooks a long, deep lawn and beautiful border plantings.

The kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances: a 5-burner gas stove, an American refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher and beautiful dishes and other kitchen supplies. The counter top, which includes a breakfast bar that seats 4, is black granite. There are two large windows. A comfortable black leather chair is placed under the street-facing window.

The bedrooms are downstairs on the garden level. The master bedroom, at the back of the house, has a king bed, bedside tables, an enormous walk-in closet that has both hanging space and drawers. A large, comfortable easy chair is placed near the double folding doors that open onto the patio and the gorgeous gardens. It can be as if you are sleeping outside.

The en suite bathroom has a large Belfast sink, a long, deep tub with windows on the garden, a separate shower stall and beautifully-crafted cupboards.

The second bedroom has a queen bed, bedside tables, a tall bookcase, a desk and chair in front of the window. The closet has a chest of drawers and space for hanging clothes. The en suite bathroom has a very large tiled shower.

The laundry room has a washer and dryer and a stainless steel utility sink. A door opens onto the the back garden - fold the laundry outside!

A small sitting room has a sofa, an easy chair, a desk and a TV. A door opens to the front garden. This room is a quiet space for being alone for work or reading.

There is a separate flat on the top floors which does not impose itself on this property.

It is a 1-minute walk to Richmond Park, the largest park in London with 2500 acres of parkland, has walking trails, picnic areas, a running and cycling track, riding stables and the beautiful Isabella Plantation. It is home to the Royal Ballet School.

The house is a few minutes to Richmond Theatre with all its pre- West End runs. The Cricketers and The Prince of Wales pubs, a café and shops are all nearby. Richmond Green, a garden square with walking paths, was once a jousting ground where knights fought in single combat. Now it hosts cricket matches throughout the summer. Nearby is the Maids of Honour Row where many royals lived and the Gate House to the Palace and The Wardrobe where Elizabeth I kept her clothes.

Richmond Train Station is a short walk from the house. Richmond is only a 15-minute train journey to Waterloo station in the centre of London.

The house is one mile from Kew, the world-famous Royal Botanic Gardens.

Boats to Hampton Court Palace can be accessed nearby. Heathrow is 20 minutes by car. There is very good proximity to M4, M3, M25 motorways.

This is a strict non-smoking house. Children are warmly welcomed here. Heating and electricity are included. A £ 500 security deposit is due on arrival.
