This fine house overlooks the Kenmare River and the 16th green of the Kenmare Golf Course. It's at the end of a secluded road on the grounds of a 5 star hotel. All the hotel's amenities are available to you.

Enter a welcoming hallway. The living room, on the left of the hall, has a sumptuous sofa and a settee, both covered in beige ultrasuede. There isa large coffee table and a chess table and two comfortable black leather easy chairs. A TV and DVD player and books rest on bookshelves. A window seat overlooks the river. It's a very nice, casual room.

To the right of the entrance hall there is another sitting room adjacent to the kitchen and dining room. This sitting room has a a slightly different modern sofa covered in creamy tan ultrasuede, a black leather club chair, a large square coffee table, a TV, DVD player. In this room, too, a window seat is the perfect perch for gazing out across the river to the McGillicuddy Reeks in the distance.

The large, bright dining area has a beautiful long wood table and 10 French bistro chairs. French doors open onto a narrow gravel courtyard. The very up-to-date large kitchen area is beyond the dining table. A large island has a black and gray granite counter top. The kitchen has a Britainia 6-burner cook top and a double wall oven, a large refrigerator/freezer, a wine cooler, glass-fronted cupboards, a black slate floor. A beautiful dark-wood dresser hold dishes and glassware. A door at the back of the kitchen opens to a hallway that has a door to a dining patio.

One bedroom is on the right side of that back hall. It has a king sligh bed, a chest of drawers, an armoire, a nice low sofa covered in off-white and a TV and DVD player. The en suite bathroom has a long, deep tub (with three rubber duckies) and shower over tub. The floor is rust-colored marble.

Back in the back hall, there is a stairway going up to the back of the upstairs bedrooms. You can also access the upstairs via the stairs in the front entrance hall.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king bed a dressing table, an armoire, a chest of drawers. The view is of the woods at the back of the property. The bedroom's sitting area has three easy chairs, a coffee table, a TV and DVD player. The windows in this part of the room look toward the bay and the mountains. The large, luxurious en suite bathroom has a shower stall.

The third bedroom, also large, has a white-painted king bed with white bed covers, a large armoire, a small desk, a TV. All of the furniture is painted crisp white and walls are a soft gray-green. Two windows look onto beautiful views of trees, water and the mountains.

The fourth bedroom has a king bed that can convert to twin beds. It has a fabric headboard and a white-on-white striped comforter. There is a mirrored armoire, a chest of drawers, a TV. The en suite bathroom has a shower stall.

Next to that bedroom, there is a hallway games room. It has a round table and four chairs and space to spread out. A drawing of Eloise of the Plaza and a silk screen of Elvis hang on the wall.

The fifth bedroom, just behind the games room, has a king bed that can convert to twin beds. This bedroom is furnished the same as the fourth bedroom. The bathroom, with a shower stall, is off the hall between the bedrooms - adjacent to the bedroom. This bedroom and bathroom are very quiet and private.

The views from all of the front windows are of the tallest mountain range in Ireland, the McGillicuddy Reeks, which tower over the picturesque town of Kenmare and Kenmare River. The river runs just past the house, across the road.

The house is a few minutes' walk to the hotel across gorgeous grounds. Children are warmly welcomed here. Daily cleaning is included and fires are set each day. Guests have free use of the hotel's health spa (spa treatments are extra) and access to all of the hotel facilities. Bicycles are available. Daily laundry service is available at the hotel for an additional fee. Dinner parties can be arranged at an additional request with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Babysitting can be arranged at an additional fee with prior notice.

This is an ideal location for touring the Ring of Kerry, Beara Peninsula and Killarney National Park. Killarney is 20 miles/33 km. Shannon Airport is 120 miles/200 km. Dublin is 200 miles/333 km. Cork City is 60 miles/100 km.

This house is accessible to people with mild to moderate mobility limitations. One bedroom is on the main floor. Its bathroom has a tub with shower over tub.
