Accommodates
11-12
6 bedrooms 6 bathrooms, guest powder room High speed internet Until recently, this extraordinary building was just a ruin. Meticulously restored, it is now a pristine, luxurious and very comfortable castle retreat. A fortified tower has been on this site since the 11th century. There is still a medieval burial site and the remains of one Scotland's earliest Christian chapels. The Tower's location was originally chosen because it afforded views in every direction, so that one would have early warning of an attack - not an issue now, but it's nice to know you can rely on that! |

finest local produce, the chef will create superb meals based
on your requests or the chef's whims, whichever you prefer. The
kitchen is beautiful, modern, efficient and cheery. It's the
chef's territory, but you are invited to partake of the leftovers, make

evening.

20 acres of private land includes a secluded loch, a small
lake. The property is just 20 miles east of Edinburgh between Gullane
and North Berwick with several terrific villages along the coast
line. North Berwick is particularly nice.
There are over 100 golf courses within 30 miles of the property (15 within 10 miles). These include Gullane, North Berwick, Luffness and Muirfield. St Andrews is only 22 miles as the crow flies. There is a helicopter landing pad, so you can fly as the crow nearly anywhere you like. |
